Microfiber, in general, is an amazing technology. It is used in many applications. It is particularly well suited for cleaning because of it’s “magnetic” attraction to dirt and dust. Microfiber products are extremely soft so they won’t scratch sensitive surfaces.

The secret behind the microfiber technology is that the fibers are split in such a way as to create minute crevices. These small gaps attract and hold dust, dirt, and moisture. The fibers are 11 times thinner than a human hair. A typical microfiber cloth can absorb up to 7 times its own weight in water.

Millennium Maintenance Systems uses a color-coded microfiber technology to combat cross-contamination. Cross-contamination is the spreading of germs, bacteria, and/or disease by carrying them from an infected area to a non-infected area.
